Glass and Kevlar cloths impregnated with various grades of rubbers give a range of highly conformable gasket materials. These are particularly suitable for sealing between uneven, pitted or warped mating faces. Also ideally suited for making tapes, including tadpole sections.

Specific material grades available from SPG include:

• Prekev 650/2000 is a high quality stainless steel reinforced proofed woven carbon fibre/aramid fibre cloth, suitable for steam, air and water services up to maximum temperature of 250 Deg C.
