Our range includes Flange, Valve & Pump Covers, Insulation Jackets, Welding Mats and Acoustic Insulation.
Fabric used on the inner face of insulation covers are woven to a minimum weight of 400gms & are suitable for temperatures up to 550°C. The filling can be any material depending upon application. These include mineral wool mattress or slab, ceramic or Superwool™ blanket or needle glass mattress. The outer face can be of many different types of fabric to suit the application.
Dry & Coated Woven Cloths
Glass, Kevlar and Ceramic cloths are supplied in their base state, treated, aluminium faced or coated with various polymers. Our range of cloths vary in weight from 200 to 2000 grammes/sq metre. The treatments and coatings include graphite, vermiculite, aluminium, silicone, neoprene, EPDM & Viton.
These materials can be readily sewn to make fire blankets, smoke curtains, welding curtains, bellows, tadpole tapes & seals.
Multiply Expansion Joints & Strip
Designed for sealing where expansion and contraction has to be accommodated and usually comprises of several plies of material:
- Inner layer of one or more plies of graphite impregnated glass cloth
- Middle membrane of PTFE
- Outer membrane of synthetic rubber proofed glass cloths, mainly Silicone, EPDM or Viton.
The combination of plies is limitless and a suitable construction for any specific service can be made. |
